Achieve a “Thigh Gap” with Inner Thigh Liposuction

The “thigh gap”-refers to the natural gap between the thighs of those with long, toned and slim legs, when standing with the knees together. For women who are unhappy with fat on the inner and outer thighs (saddlebags) and haven’t been able to achieve a thigh gap, plastic surgery provides an effective solution. Achieving a thigh gap has always remained a popular trend in female plastic surgery. This has increased the demand for inner thigh liposuction procedures. The thighs are one of the most common problem spots for women. Celebrities have endorsed this liposuction procedure, with reports indicating that Kim Kardashian had lipo on her inner thighs to get a ‘thigh gap’ and a year ago, she’s had it done again.

Liposuction on the inner thighs can also reduce the problem of the inner thighs rubbing together. The procedure is now performed using Smartlipo Triplex, an FDA-approved laser-assisted workstation from Cynosure. Along with removing the extra fat in the thighs, this procedure can also tighten the skin. This workstation uses three laser wavelengths (1064nm, 1320nm and 1440nm) to provide excellent results for both fat removal and skin tightening. With this laser liposuction, the excess fat is suctioned out from the thighs, creating the desired space between them. Compared to the traditional method, you can expect faster healing, and quick recovery time with laser-assisted procedures.

When considering liposuction on thighs, the first step to do is to schedule a consultation with a good liposuction surgeon in your area. An experienced plastic surgeon will perform a thorough physical examination to evaluate the amount of adipose tissue present and the quality of the overlying skin. Your results would depend on the amount of fat to be removed, and the quality of skin among other factors.

Make sure to undergo the procedure at an AAAASF-accredited plastic surgery center. While the leaves, colors and temperatures change during this fall, why not make some dramatic changes to your body with the thigh liposuction procedure?
