Along with effective and minimally invasive fat removal, laser liposuction provides maximized results for skin tightening. Unlike traditional liposuction, laser liposuction with Smartlipo Triplex does not leave sagging skin.

Research presented at the annual meeting of the Society of Interventional Radiology in New Orleans reported that laser liposuction may zap fat without skin sag. As many as 2,200 women and men who received laser liposuction in various body regions, including the belly, thighs and arms were observed. After three months, patients were found to have between 20 percent and 80 percent skin tightening. The amount of skin tightening with laser liposuction was found to be about 50 percent better than what would have been achieved with traditional liposuction.

Smartlipo Triplex, the advanced lipolysis workstation utilizes three wavelengths: 1064nm, 1320nm and 1440nm. After the fat removal, the plastic surgeon directs the laser with the 1320nm wavelength at the skin tissues which helps in releasing collagen in the area and causes the skin to tighten. The blending of the 1064 nm and the 1320 nm wavelengths offer excellent skin tightening through tissue coagulation and stimulation of new collagen growth.

Laser liposuction involves injection of the epinephrine containing fluid, followed by melting of the fat using the laser and finally sucking out the fat. The laser is very powerful and requires training to avoid burning of the skin and extensive scarring. Performed by an inexperienced or unqualified surgeon, the procedure can have serious health consequences.

If you are considering SmartLipo Triplex laser liposuction surgery, make sure to choose an AAAASF accredited plastic surgery practice for safe and optimum results. Ensure that the liposuction surgeon is trained and experienced in performing liposuction using the Smartlipo Triplex device.
